Hi, Hywel! The name is not so strange if we know some features of this plant. It has such a smooth bark that seems to have no bark at all. Like a naked lady...sorry for this comparison...And the second...when touching its bark, the tree begins shedding it. Like a shameless lady...sorry for this comparison too...
