Thanks everyone - it really is a lovely spot. Of our 2 dogs, Buddy loves to swim in it (when not frosty of course), but his sister Holly is not keen on water.

Typical girly ... doesn't want to get her hair wet ! lol Fantastic pic CG :~)

Got it in one Sue - while her brother loves to jump in the river & swim after sticks, Holly dips in her toes & if she's feeling really brave, goes in until it touches her belly - that's enough for her. We've even been really cruel on a beautiful summers night and thrown her in to join Buddy - she can swim no problem - just prefers not to get wet !

Oh CG, I'd have loved to have seen the look on her face when she landed in the water !! LOL :~)
