Thanks everyone. It is a lovely quiet spot Morgana. There are fish in here but I don't know what kind - you just see the swirl in the water or a fin sometimes.

It looks lovely I wonder what kind of fish are in there, do people go fishing there.

It's a private wood Morgana, but the guy who owns it lets "the community" use it freely. I've never seen anyone fish there but have seen the owner carrying a rod. I know he does deer & pheasant stalking in the wood but on private beats & only seasonal so he's particular in maintaining the natural habitat / wildlife - he just closes the wood from the public during these times, but other than that, lots of people walk their dogs & it's good of the owner to leave it open to the community. I had wondered if it was trout in the loch, but I would say the ground is very peaty so might be too acidy for trout.

That is kind of the owner for sharing, I wonder would it be bream.

Really don't know Morgana, but they look quite big going by their fins.

Well at least there is life there and its beautiful
