WAITING FOR THE MONSOON TO GREEN RVERYTHING AGAIN
Comments on this photo
Our monsoon is our wet season where we get torrential rain sometimes measured in feet not inches.

Pitta:
You're lucky you receive the monsoonal moisture!
Monsoon: which technically means change in
the winds. In the Southwestern U.S our monsoonal
flow comes from the southeast and has to go over
high mountains...so by the time we get the clouds
most or all the moisture is depleted.

Pitta:
I assuming you mean 'Monsoon' as moisture from
the change in the winds? We have Monsoon season
here from July - Sept. however, we just receive clouds,
high humidity and heat...rarely any of the monsoonal
rains or thunderstorms.
