This picture describes the white spots that hav appeared on the leaves of the Parrot Plant

Mmmm......looks like a kind of fungus Darcya.....could be its too humid and warm where it is.......

Fungus or mealybugs I'd say. If the spots look like flecks of cotton then it is a mealybug problem. If it looks more like a powder then I'd say powdery mildew.
To get rid of mealybugs you can dab them with some isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab. Put the alcohol directly on them. You could also try spraying the plant with insecticidal soap and oil mixture. Mix 1 tsp. insecticidal soap, 1/2 tsp. oil, and 1 quart water in a spray bottle. I use vegetable oil but you can use horticultural oil if you have some.
If it is powdery mildew then spray with a fungicide or you can use a sodium bicarbonate, oil and water mix.
