Summer sky downunder today.

Such a lovely day today - I spent most of it out on the verandah on the rocking chair reading a book and sipping a few cuppas!!! Yes ... I'm on holiday right now ... but holidaying at home.

Absolutely Carol ... I'm loving it! Can get up late, sit around and read all day if I want to and then potter about in the garden in the evening.

Ha ha ha Bernieh, you really know how to rub it in mate. If I sat outside today my 'cuppa' would freeze over ! Lol :~))

Hmmm - I've just posted a photo of my back garden today - we've got a little snow!

Don't worry Muddy ... pretty soon I won't be able to sit outside - I'll be inside with the air-conditioning running non-stop ... and a cuppa will be the last thing I'd want to drink. I can't imagine the summer being this nice for very much longer!

Andrew - will have to check your photo. Always love to see your garden ... and love to see any amount of snow!

I'm not complaining at all Louise ... time to read, time to garden, time to cook, time to listen to music! It's heaven!

Bernieh:

Sounds wonderful! I'm sure soon your cuppa will have
a lot of ice in it. LOL! : > )

Ha ... lol ... guessed right again Andy! I did have a rather cool drink or two in the late afternoon!!!

lovely picture Bernieh, 35 degrees here in my garden at the moment, no tea outside for me.

Blimey Yorkshire ! Is your garden on fire ? lol :-))

30 Dec, 2009

Lol, Muddy .... 35F sounds cold to me!

Tee hee hee ! I have to admit, I'm a Fahrenheit/Feet and Inches kinda guy myself - just can't visualise metrics at all. Lol :-))

Took me quite some time to get used to cms and metres ... but I'm quite used to the centigrade scale for temperatures now as all our weather forecasts use it.

So right now at 8.00 am New Year's Eve it's 24 degrees C .... which to us is a brilliant cool summer morning!

For you it would be 75 degrees F which might be considered rather warm over there.

30 Dec, 2009

Oh ! If only !!! Tell you what - if we had 2 weeks in the 'Summer' of 75F and no rain we'd be as happy as Larry ! Lol :-))

If only it were possible to share ... I'd send some of this (presently!) lovely summer weather over! The downside of it all is the humidity though - even though it's morning the humidity level has reached 100% ... which is OK when the temps. are still around 24 C ... but the expected high today is 31 C and that's when it gets a bit sweaty!!!

Bernieh:

Sounds like great New Year's Eve weather. I hate those mornings when it's already 90 degrees F. / 32 degrees C. by 8 or 9 a.m. because you know it's just going to get so much hotter during the day.

Our high temp. here on New Year's Day is suppose to be around 75 degrees F. / 24 degrees C. Your low temp. LOL! : > )
