Thanks Louise1 and Amblealice ...It is a wonderful shrub...and being Siberian it is tough as old boots! it is slow to start but has spread into a lovely low growing shrub 5 ft wide! the rabbits use it and the Colorado bluespruce that it grows beside as a shelter from wind and predators. In summer it is a mid green and blends beautifully into the landscape but when all the trees lose their leaves it turns a great bronzy colour and becomes a focal point!!
