I hope the occupants of the cars were o.k , the trees do look pretty , I think it's nice to look like that at Christmas time ..
I've been to Diss often enough but I don't think I've ever been to Burston .......

I'm sure it feels very Christmasy! : > )
I truly don't know this feeling...I've never lived where it snowed.

You will have to treat yourself to a weeks holiday at Christmas just once to get that feeling ..It is like walking into a new magical world ...
Put it on your list of things to do before your 100...:o))

Yes, one day I will have go to the mountains and spend Christmas in the snow...definitely before I get any older...because the cold affects me quite
a bit. My Hawaiian blood just doesn't seem to adjust well at all.

2 on my list are to go to Hawaii and have x~mas somewhere nice and warm
just to see what its like ....

It doesn't feel much like Christmas...however, it's nice to hang out at the beach, sunbathe and swim. Christmas 3 years ago...the temp here was 85 degrees F. / 29 degrees C. and many people went to the beach...it was just like a normal summer's day.

Sounds good to me.. We rarely get 29 in the height of summer ....:o}}}}

I hate to tell how hot it got here in mid Feb. 2002. 98 degrees F./ 37 degrees C...I will never forget that. However, it's not too unusual to get up to 90 degrees F. / 32 degrees C. here in winter though...especially when we have a strong Santa Ana wind.
27 Dec, 2009
Ohhh for a Santa Ana here now :-/
27 Dec, 2009
Louise1:
The Santa Ana's are not the best winds to experience...as they are very hot and extremely dry.
27 Dec, 2009
Just a little bit of that would be fine for while ;-)
(I prefer hot and dry to hot and humid. The worst humidity has to be in the Sri Lanka and Bali area ....... it's hard going).

Yes, it is much easier to take the hot dry conditions than the very hot humid weather...which just drains me completely. Our summer weather can be quite warm to very hot and humid depending on what part of San Diego County one lives. Where I live, inland San Diego the weather is usually 10 - 20 degrees warmer (in summer) than downtown San Diego...where the official temp. is recorded for the city.
