What is the paving?
30 Aug, 2007
Helloe Hoya, the "YelloeBrick road" is in fact a timber "boardwalk" which I built three years ago from leftover timber, for use by the kids as a cycle/skate track, linking the various parts of the garden. This was painted with three coats of yellow exterior paint, and my Dad marked out the brickwork in black. If this track had not already been here, i doubt whether the Wizard of Oz theme would ever have happened. PS. When is your Radio garden quiz?

It is very inviting... makes me want to skip on in. It must have taken your Father quite a while to mark out all those bricks; is it a lovely result!

It took him 2 afternoons. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to get out the deckroller and yellow paint again as there are too many scuff marks and scrapes. I'm sure, however, that my Dad will be only too happy to redo the lines again for us (he has a steadier hand than me, and more patience for this kind of task).

Is the colour of your shed blue? Like ours then...

This was in a garden we used to have, Hilda. The playhouse was actually painted with grey undercoat paint, but it did have a "blue" look to it from some angles. i saw your blue shed - lovely! :-)
