Yes, I know what you mean, especially when the Starling see the fatballs. They don't last long then! My back garden has been full of Sparrows, Dunnocks and Tits this morning eating from the feeders!

We don't often see them in our garden but since I've started hanging feeders in the back garden(usually only put themin front garden), I've seen a few. They probably do visit the front garden but I don't see them. The back garden is very small so we can see them clearly from the kitchen window!

Living in a town does'nt help much, but i think i do well for the birds i do get, Sanbaz lives near me but she is more on the edge in a village and gets alot more differant birds than me.

Yes, well I'm in a town although right at the edge so we have fields behind us.But I do notice in the summer we get very few birds visiting because there is so much food for them in the fields and hedgerows! But I'm pleased to see them in the winter when it's not so easy for them to find food!
