Youngdaisydee, this is Clematis Niobe.It looks purple but actually it is dark
red velvet petals.

Hi, Buzzbee.This is clematis Niobe.I planted this last year.I took this pic
04/13/08.There were more or less 10 flowers today and still more buds
ready to open in couple of days.
