I wonder if you would really need to do this, Motinot. it looks big enough to be able to look after itself now. it's a lovely plant. :-)

I always followed instructions to protect cordylines and phormiums in winter for the first couple of years only. After this, they just have to get on with it. Can only see the tips of mine sticking out of the snow. When you think about it, the ones in parks and public gardens don't get tied up. :-))

That's true David.....I remember a few years back, my next door neighbour lost hers that winter and it was quite big...i had mine tied up and it was ok, so i have been tying it up ever since.... and now....the worst winter ever..... i leave it... lol....:>)
