Thanks all, Bernieh...she thought I could use them in my outdoor pots, I am trying them out in the porch and am impressed. So I could be buying them in bulk!

I'd be lost without mine, especially in the potted plants around my courtyard .. those pots dry out so quickly in our sunshine and heat. It's a pain when you have to fill them through that tiny hole at the end, but they work!

Bernieh ~ I have seen them in the shops but wondered if they would really work.....I now know they do, so will use them in some of my outdoor pots that are prone to drying out.

Whoever invented these should be given a medal...probably a millionaire by now!
