Thanks! There's so many species of Aloe which grow here...I'm even sometimes amazed! There's almost 400 known species of Aloe...I think almost all grow here. : > )

Did you ever check out the very tall Aloe thraskii which I'm standing next to? They are incredibly tall...I was even surprised they grew that tall.

i'm just in awe at them all....and yes i have seen the photo you mention...its amazing that 'our' little tender plants look so rugged and strong in their own environment...
