Looking afresh at this pic I might have discovered the reason why the climbing roses have failed to scramble over the top of the poles....;o)

Not last night but the night before. Today there has been no snowfall, which breaks the run of 21 continuous days. Who knows we might get some more later on....whooppee...;o) My chillblanes are killing me!

Thank you Yorkshire et al. Sixpence, the chillblanes were right. It is snowing again as I write this at 9pm. 22 consecutive days of snow :o)

No trouble at all. We're now thawing. Plus two celcius today. I went to the shops with my neighbour. First since before the New Year. Get stocked up before the next onslaught. Still no grass visble though :o)
