Times are hard so just popped in to the bird cafe in Blackpool, (sorry) we have eaten all the swiss cake but we are very hungery.

Blimey Think i'm only a 1-1/2miles from sea front, they come on roofs and next doors garage but they have been flying very low for a couple of days and today they where in the garden, with in seconds all food is gone....

Will eat you out of house and home carol, im struggling abit now with food for the birds can't getout and the delivery we ordered from Tesco for today was cancelled,so down to ginger biscuits, oats`, dried fruit and just used the last apple! im Baking for Robin's visit tomorrow so they will have a litttle pastry too , not good though is it. ;0(

Like you Pansy we are running low on birdfood. I buy it by the sack at a local nursery so will have to try and get some tomorrow. The birds are still getting cake, mealworms, dried fruit and any scraps that are suitable but all that will soon run out unless I manage to get some more.

I have to go about 6 miles to get the sacks of food.

I usually go to Wilkos for mine as cheaper than asda, got quite a bit in yet but if come unstuck can pop in asda, if footpath not slippy

Wilko's is even further for me so will stick to the nursey for seed but I do need to get to Wilko's for the mealworms.

I have to go around 5 miles so thats out of the question, I rang the Health shop thats about 3miles away but they have run out, which in a way shows there are lots of caring peolp out there.

Great shot Clarice.We too need to re stock soon.They have been so hungry last few days as temperatures have plummeted...all had extras such as "value" scones from Morrisons 33p for a pack of 10 !

Baking tomorrow BB for Robin tomorrow not seen him since Boxing Day so Im sure there will be an extra scone for our feathered friends!
