Bornagain ... this crepe myrtle - Lagerstroemia indica - flowers for 3 months here in Oz. It's often used for landscaping because of its long flowering period.

That Crepe Myrtle Tree blooms around 3 months here also. It's so beautiful when the wind blows before a rain and little blooms are falling like snow.

The falling flowers create a rather pretty carpet on the ground as well!

They sell them here now, I'm looking into it. Possibly a different variety from this. I would love one even if I have to grow it in a pot and bring it in. One of those I've seen advertised here is a grafted standard only 3-4 ft wide. Have you seen anything like this?
