This perfect specimen of a Euphorbia species is a striking example of parallel evolution; xerophytic plants adopting the strategy of developing similar forms to resist long periods without water; The Cactaceae/Euphorbiaceae/Apocynaceae etc.

Euphorbia ammak is widely grown here as a landscape plant.
