We get some very interesting fungi during the wet season

brilliant colour sometimes indicates danger...but my first thought was that it looked like a piece of mango... ! could that be the device at work here?

They are all poisonous usually in the tropics . I would not eat them. In the southern states you can go and collect field mushrooms which taste divine .
