this is a sweet called carrot halwa in india it is prepared with carrot and sugar it is very tasty.

ingredients for carrot halwa: carrots 500gms, milk750ml, sugar according to our taste, ghee 100gms, 3to4 cardamom, cashewnuts 10 pieces.
pour milk in athick fry pan to make milk solids this will take 1hour time .you must keep on stiring when the watery content gets dried keep it aside.peel wash carrots and make small pieces put ina mixi and run the whiper blade for 10seconds so that the carrots get grated.put the grated carrots in a thick fry pan and add 1 tea spoon ghee fry for 2to 3 minutes and cover the pan withlid .let it get cooked for5to 6 minutes till it becomes soft.then add sugar to your taste again cook for 5 minutes till the sugar gets dissolved nicely.now add remaining ghee of 100gms kova (milk solids) cardamom powder and garnish withcashewnuts raisins and what ever dry fruits you like that is upto your option. carrot halwa is ready to serve iam coming to taste the halwa.

hi iam thilak in the evening we can have with any snacks and if you want to have after dinner especially in an occasion like invited some guest then it will be an additional attractive and naturally colourful item.serve hot after meals only.
