In the summer of 2007 I saved this beautiful plant from an old neglected office where I used to work. It had not been watered for some time and was very pot bound.
I brought it home and decided to give it some space in our garden, meaning to bring it in as the weather turned colder. However for various reasons I forgot, only to discover that not only did it enjoy the outside life it positively flourished. Last Autumn it flowered and has survived -5 degs of frost.

I'll bet that felt good. It looks as if it prefers the outdoors and in ground rather than being inside in a pot. Good rescue.
