You must come to visit San Diego, CA one winter. You'd be in 7th Heaven.
There's so many millions of Aloe plants everywhere...it may be overwhelming to you. : > )

Ahh,nice!..Just saw this. My Aloidendron tongaensis and my A. plicitalis are blooming. Both out of season, both twice in less than a year. Not sure why..well,don't know!
it was a "record" 66f yesterday the 12th of December. That's since they moved the station to HAYX about 20 years ago from downtown. Downtown was 74f in 1958.
1958 was a very warm winter for here..see lots of that. 1958,1976. What I see now is mostly record warm lows. Urban growth.

Wow! This photo was from 2010, that was 8 years ago. I can't believe I've been on GoY this long. :>))
I can believe all the record warmth. It's been pretty warm here, also. Although, not as hot as last year at the same time, and we're getting some rain. Yay!
I see many of the mango trees around putting out flower spikes. I noticed them the second week of November. That's unusual. Usually, January I see the earliest flower spikes on mango trees here.

We again are averaging about 50f lows for December. That's well above the 42f historical.
Days are nice..but the nights are the biggest difference.
Gardeners in their 20's are really going to be able to grow tropicals that I never could in my 20's. Soon,Plumeria will be seen in yards. Mango's will be tree's.
Rained hard the other night.
SO far Andy mild and rainy..a great combo.
