My Angel's Trumpets went through the storms with no problems whatsoever. It didn't loose one flower...as you can see. : > )

This is not a protected area at all...it's between my neighbor's house and mine and the storm winds funnel through the houses.

Sandra:
Angel's Trumpets are considered very tough shrubs here. It takes a lot of wind to blow them down. Actually, I've never seen one blow down.

Sandra:
Do the leaves blow off by then? or are they going dormant?
Do they freeze to the ground?
Angel's Trumpet usually bloom best from fall - early spring here. Summer is usually too hot for most varieties to bloom...except along the immediate coast.

I know some species/varieties are very tender to frost...some are much more hardy. We grow so many varieties and species here...they're so difficult to identify.
Milky:
Yes, it looks good and all my many other Angel's Trumpet plants are blooming or starting to bloom. I'm going to be posting a photo of the large yellow Angel's Trumpet next to the Bontanical Building in Balboa Park today...it has many hundreds of flowers.

Wow! must be a very sheltered location. At least you have some beautiful flowers left to look at! :o))
