It not that bad! how about giving the slabs and brick work a clean a few containers and a hanging basket it would transform this area? Leaving you some where to sit while you contemplate the rest?

Soooo... much better! That will make a great little seating area ... and I can picture a raised bed just behind it. I'm with Drc ... giving the bricks and slabs a clean-up and putting some baskets on that wall would give the whole area an instant face-lift.
