it continued to pour for hours on end...imagine if it had been a few degrees colder...we would have been buried in snow!!! The tall crenelated building in the background is the Canadian Museum of Science and Nature.

Guess it's all in what you're used to, Yorkshire! this was such an anomaly... and it actually feels warm to us...above zero! This time in January we usually have an average day time high in the minus 20's!!!
