So you recognised, Bedford`s Park, Doriac? Yes, Teddy loves the park
We only take him in the Summer, as we live on the back of fields, so he
goes there daily...loves meeting his friends there, as always bumping into
people with their pets, get to make lot of friends this way..LOL

I used to have a friend who lived in Havering Atte Bower. In her retirement she used to walk her dog in Havering Park. She made many friends there with dog walking. Pepe wasn't as pretty as Teddy. He was a sinister looking semi lurcher type dawg. She chose him as he was the runt of a big litter born at the stables. Bedfords Park is lovely, good disability parking and that wonderful view.

Bedfords Park is lovely...they have a wildlife feature there now, they have made
made quite a few changes to it .....in Summer its a joy to go there... at least they make dogs welcome, a lot of places, like Parks, for instance, are going to ban all dogs, its a shame, i blame irresponsible owners, they spoil it for others..
Yes, Bedfords Park do have a disability parking area...and as you say, the
view is just wonderful....did you lose your friend Doriac?....it sounded like, past tense when you said, used to have a friend...

She would be 100 by now if alive Freesia.Same birth year as my mum. I worked with her many years. We got on well, despite the generation gap. Her brother nearly got to 100 and her sister to 94. They set up the country park at HAB about 25 years ago, with various rides and separated walking paths. Wellingtonia Ave is interesting, with a huge badger set not far down from the houses. Bedfords Park has been more recently refurbished, I believe. It's a shame that dogs have such short lives Freesia, especially the larger ones. Very sad. We were going to Brentwood one evening recently, and about 6 deer of all ages ambled across the road near the de limit sign, past Noak hill. We always drive very sedately along there now!!!!!

What a wonderful interesting story of your dear friend and her family..
she sounded a lovely lady, bless her...how, exciting to know, that the family,
set up the country park, and did so much for it...Yes, it is a shame that dogs
have such short lives Doriac...very sad for us when we lose them..
Have you friends in Brentwood? And, yes we do have lots of Deer in this
area...if you go to my homepage, you will see my blog on `Deer...they often
visit me in the garden..usually, mum & youngsters...i have been told i am so
lucky! i know i am, and i am so grateful and, feel...so fortunate....
