Our spring trees and bushes were just beautiful this year.....I am trying to get a start of this......from my mom.......any helpful hints.......smiles

If you can get a section with roots it should transplant easily, although I would wait now until after it finishes flowering to reduce stress. If just a cutting, I apply rooting powder and water frequently until established. I have to tell you that my cuttings are much less sucessful so I do numerous ones in hopes that one takes. If they all take, they are much easier to move, with roots, to another spot.
Once established, it flowers on new growth, so prune right after flowering to shape shrubs.
