This is a Shrub of some sorts

This is an excellent shrub because you can prune it quite hard and it doesnt die in cold weather .It has large type of what i call buttercup flowers , no idea what its called. But i know when we moved in , we had 2 of these and we dug the other one up and it was a b****r to dig up and there is no way we will dig this one up .Its lovely when its on bloom. there is another variety of it , and they have feathery type stamens, where as our one doesnt
