Yes and it has been so nice that I have been outside this afternoon tidying up the pot's, with birds singing, and no snow. How is the weather with you?

20 Feb, 2010

It is as the link I just sent you the sun was out today, but very cold but dry the snow has melted away.

Interesting link Sixpence. What is the weather doing your way?

It has snowed to day Faerieflora but the gritters have done the roads back nearly to the way it was the other day. : O ( Poor birds must be confused, this morning Sunday Goldfinches feeding then a black bird with a Feral Pigeon sitting watching then joining in with one of the Goldfinches giving the Pigeon gip lol then along came the Great Tits and the Blue Tits.

All that bird activity must have a sight to see. I bet the poor little things are fed up with all this cold weather.

I can now tell when the day is going to be cold by the birds, if they continue to feed, I know its going to be very cold and snow, if they just come at normal times I know its going to be ok for the day. I have black sunflower seed, nigra seed and sunflower hearts, the goldfinches have been eating the sunflower hearts, and nigra seed, on the day it snowed and they were continually were eating, the sunflower hearts and nigra seed as normal the sunflower hearts ran out, so they started to eat the black sunflower seed which normally they don't touch.

Bless them... and it has started snowing again.
