Loulu, Molokaʻi Fan Palm is growing next to the Prado theatre in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. It is still young and small at around 10 feet/ 3 meters tall. Photo taken Feb. 23, 2010.

Pritchardia species are second to Licuala species for the most beautiful and ornamental fan palms in the world. (the opinions from many palmnuts)

Well i have always liked palms ever since i got into gardening 5years or so ago..
But since i have seen the amazing variety s of palms that you have shown me,that i never knew existed, i am a complete palmnut. So keep them coming there fantastic.. ..:o)))

There's hundreds of species of palms which grow outside in Southern California. I don't think anybody knows exactly how many species though...because there's always new ones being discovered and introduced here.
