Thanks. These are the spruce down by the pond below the garden. We did get great sun, but haven't seen it now for a week. Snow the whole time. I knew it couldn't be over. I'm glad you all like.

Strange-looking trees for a South African. We don't see them here.

These are spruce trees. They fill the base of the property. I'd imagine it being very different here in Alaska near the arctic circle than South Africa.....LOL! You look nice and warm.

Wonderful colours lovely sunrise

Thanks. The sunrise is already a little to early for me now. Only 7 hours of dark a day. In a month, the sunrise sunset start running together in the wee hours.
