That's just the name that we've given them!!
If I get any this shade this year, I'm going to isolate the plant over at my workshop to see if I can get the seeds to come true to type next year.

meanie I did that two years ago but i had pots everywhere and nearly all were orange or gold. the red which was the one i was after, was very weak and did not set seed. i hope you have better luck!

I isolated the pure red one last year & got one seed pod (possibly 20 seeds). I've since found the pure red one sold in packets!!!!
