Thanks David...this is my first adventure into growing Tomato plants from seed..
my experience has always been to buy a plant hardy and ready to go....then we always, dig a deep hole...put in rotted cow manure or some from a a bag of what is known as farm land which is a combo of pig, chicken, horse and cow manure, dug in well of course...then cover that with garden dirt so the roots don't get to it until it is a bit older, put the plant on top of that and off it goes...produces tons of tomato's if you are in the south of Washington State and if it is in a greenhouse here, it does super...but seedlings are new to me...lol..
I have been sorting out how to pollinate, thanks for that info too! and for the tomato page reminder.. :o)
Thanks Toto..it is so tiny..I am still a bit concerned that it is not thriving at all!..

Start feeding with potash liquid food only once the fruits actually begin to appear. Some way off yet. Improve fruiting by cross-pollinating the flowers, either by gently shaking the bushes now and again, or using something like a small soft paintbrush. There's a "Tomatoes" page on here. Reminds me, I haven't even bought my seeds yet. :-))
