Pink Virginia Bluebells (Mertensia virginica)

So I guess that would make them Pinkbells?? I love to find the all pink ones. There's even all white ones but I don't have any of those in any of my colonies, so far that is.

Don't they turn blue as they age...or is it ...turn pink as they age???
anyway.... don't they change colour? lol. Or maybe they've found a little patch that is alkyline... like Hydrangeas...pink or Alky....blue on Acid soil?

Hi Lori, It's usually pink buds that turn blue as they open. BUT in some cases the whole plant has pink buds that stay pink ! On this particular plant, only this one stem had all pink flowers ! It's crazy. I don't think it has to do with alkyline since both colors can be on one plant. And an all pink plant can be right next to an all blue plant. And then some pink flowers can have tints of blue in them. And then there's the all white plants. Just different colors I guess.
