House Rose?

I was given this plant at Christmas and was told it was a 'house rose'. There were no labels or details. It did have a couple of pink/red buds on it but they never opened. Lots of the leaves dropped off but now it has grown a lot more foliage and looks fairly healthy. Please advice - what should I do with it? Can it go into the garden later on, permanently or just for the summer?

I think you're right, Amy. I will find a larger pot for it and put it outside when the its warmer - maybe I will get some flowers :)

Thanks for that, Homebird. Is your greenhouse heated during winter? Mine isn't but I could fleece the rose to help it cope.

I've never heard of a house rose Gee , I think I would treat it like an ordinary one in a pot outside when it's warmer ........
