Hi Uma, I can see from your blogs that you're young and that you long for beauty. You can't change the world but keep working on your corner of it and keep yours beautiful.

I'm a great-grand mother but have only been gardening for three years. I thought it would be a snap until insects and fungus taught me a lesson. Still, I've learned everything I need to know about them on the internet. Every year turns out to be another experiment.

I'm trying to grow as much of my own food as I can and will plant more and more flowers and herbs alongside the veggies this summer. The flowers and herbs act as pesticides in some cases and attract beneficial insects in other cases. Maybe you already know that. You seem to be a very nice person. Thank you for the blog. Dhlady, thank you for your kind words...Yes, we try to make our garden beautiful - i like growing flowers and vegs, my husbands like his pond and all its inhabitants, our little son loves to help us. Hope in some years we'll have a lovely place...:)
