Well it's the "tusks" which are puzzling me. It's got to be either Lady Beatrix Stanley or Dionysus, I'm leaning towards Lady B. Annoyingly I've been trying the up and under method myself today and I just can't get it to work. I shall be seeking advice from Mrs H at the first available opportunity.

On a recent "snowdrop walk", I bought some greetings cards featuring a close-up snowdrop photo by a Fife gardener/photographer, which had won first prize in an RHS competition for close-ups. Don't know if this is a regional/ national? seasonal thing? I think that your mysterious "Mrs H" (?) should investigate further. :-))
