Thank you, Terratoonie. The bush against the wall - we call it yesterday, today and tomorrow - was the home of my favourite chameleon Ruby, who died in 1968, a couple of years before this photo was taken. So perhaps her spirit was lingering on.

Yes, that seems likely..
There's a sense of something special around the path and that area..
