Hi gummib, I'm new here too. Are there any seeds from America that you can use? If so tell me and I'll send them to you. For slugs if you lay boards on the ground the slugs will get under them. Then lift the boards and destroy the slugs with salt or drown them in soapy water. Also save egg shells, crush them and spread them around the plants that slugs are eating. They won't crawl over the shells. You could also set shallow bowls of beer into the soil and the slugs will crawl in to drink it and drown. Honest.
