Looking good San..... I think if you wrap up for night time protection you have to remove it in the day to let light and air to the plant.

Sandra just been tidying bedroom up carpet fitters didnt come till 4pm, tipical was suppose to be between 12-4pm, was the plam outside when you bought it if so it should be ok, dont suppose it will hurt it with bubble wrap on put you can take it of in the day to climatize it. mine is still at side of house as its still very cold at night, i'd watch it does'nt sweat if you leave the bubble wrap on when sun is shinning on it, just thought i'd have a quick nosy on here but Smokey his wonting to come on my knee so i'll catch you tomorrow. Smokey is back at vets again a week tomorrow aswell, i think he as lost weight this time, anyway catch you later.xx

Sandra that looks great, the pot really compliments the palm, think you are wise to cover it, mine has been out all winter and is very severly damaged, its a different specis to yours so may be more vunerable, but best to err on the side of caution!

Sandra my palm as stayed out for last 2yrs, as it can stand to minus 12, all i do in winter is move it to the house wall as they say the house wall are suppose to be 2 degress higher than rest of garden, Donna just leaves her in the garden and she as had her's about 3-4yrs now.
