One of mine as well, though bit of a devil for clematis wilt, or maybe that's just me! Have got quite a selection of Clematis in my garden, though can't always remember the names of them, must be an age thing lol!

Ive just purchased the Multi blue - your photo is lovely - hope mine turns out to be just as pretty. I am planting it against a shady wall though - in a deep tub to start off. Do you think that will be ok?

Hi Gardener08, it should be fine, make sure you plant it deeply, as I have found the larger flowering Clematis can be prone to wilt.If you can get its head in the sun and keep its roots in the shade, which seems to be the secret of successful Clematis growing, it should be very happy indeed! There are quite a few Clematis out there that are really happy to grow in shade and in containers, will dig out some info for you and get back to you if that would help?
