OOps! Back to macro photography again, but couldn't resist snapping the blossom of my Sargentii tree, the tree of all seasons as I call it. Like all cherry blossom, it only lingers a while, but when it shines, it does so brightly!

It's a beautiful tree. I had one in my previous garden and it looked wonderful against a blue sky :o)

I tend to rave about this tree, even its bark is pretty! Couldn't agree more with you Hywel, it looks stunning against a spring blue sky. I also have added a blue Clematis to run into the branches to prolong the flowering interest, as am a great believer in companion planting. :o))

Sounds very nice.

It's another reason I adore Clematis, give them something to scramble up and they are happy, and once the cherry blossom falls, you can still have flowers amid the branches Hywel.
