it is quite easy Balcony. I am no expert, far from it, but I have been very pleased to get a few extra Schefflera plants from one that went very spindley. :-)

I was thinking of trying it out on my Dragon Tree. It's become very spindly in the last couple of years, just like your Schefflera.

Yes Balcony give it a try -there is a sense of achievement when you get two plants. I put a splinter of wood in the cut to keep it open.

I see you are practising air layering here. I've read about this method but never actually practised it.
