Hi Muddy!...Is a hooded-crow different than a grey-backed crow?...I am totally confused.....This morning another similar bird appeared..only it was about 3 times bigger than this one....i have put a pic up....(must say they do leave a gastly mess around)...:<(

Hello Moti, I think Grey-backed crow might be a local name for Hooded Crow. Hooded Crow has recently been seperated from Carrion Crow as a seperate species and I've just Googled 'Royston Crow' as I'd not come across that name before and it seems to be a Newspaper in Hertfordshire ! Well, you learn something new every day !! :-))
