My First Tulip

My first tulip I noticed it flowering but still nestled in it's leaves at ground level. It is a dwarf variety but I don't think it's meant to be that small. There are 2 more buds in with it.

I find this such a pleasing composition (photo).
The flowers make a striking contrast of colours, and there are many interesting shades of green there. All with a pleasing simplicity.

The window box also has a couple of Daffodils and the yellow goes well with it.I'm glad you like it.
