Pruning

I thought I would have a go at doing some bonsai style pruning to create a Japanese feel, I have to admit the misses thought I had fliped when she first saw it cos it looked like a skinny poodle, it's filled in a bit now though but, it needs a bit of a trim to tidy it up

Lol I see what you mean- it is a bit poodle like! Never mind I'm sure you have been forgiven Gazz - you do have a natural talent. :~)).

Cheers Skillen, I think I may just stick to the smaller trees there so much easier to deal with, they get a bit hard to shape when they get this big!! :-)

I´m sure your poodle will be great when it´s filled out a bit. We have olive threes in our "garden" but eat very few olives and the trees make such a mess so I thought I´d try the same idea. Olive trees trimmed this way are now really popular in the nurseries in Spain.

Yeh it has filled quite a bit and it needs a tidy up but there's a chaffinch nesting in it at the moment so it will have to wait till later on in the summer once I've done it I'll post some up date's.
