I am so glad this has survived because it is not a plant guaranteed to be 100% hardy. I did intend to wrap it up but forgot.

Approx 12" x 12" . I only planted it autumn 2009 which is why I really felt it needed a bit of care and attention.I like plants with year round interest and this is a good flower arranging leaf. It can be grown as a large shrub which is what I intend to do or a small column like tree up to 9m. The yellow blotch along the vein is only on young leaves which have a wavy edge. It has very dark purple fragrant flowers in spring.
The following copied from the NZ Hebe Society web site.
Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Abbotsbury Gold’ is a sport from Pittosporum tenuifolium found in about 1970 at Abbotsbury Gardens, Dorset, UK.

Thanks for your detailed answer.
I have Pittosporum tobira variegata, and Pittosporum tenuifolium Silver Queen, and am interested in getting another Pittosporum, maybe with yellowy colouring to the leaves, which can be trained to be more column-like and not spread too wide...
