thanx guys comes back every year, i love to see thrushes, normally quick if the blackbirds are around though,:o)
TOG i get alot of birds living in a rural village, even woodpeckers if im lucky enough to catch one and sparrowhawk but a bit upsetting when he catches the little sparrows, all nature though

Dont get any of them round here, you can tell you live in a village can't you because we not that many miles from each other are we, pleased he's back with you.

Thats true, to many houses etc where i am, mind you the little sparrows like it. dont seem as many starlings now thankgoodness :o)))

yes not as many starlings here either carol at moment, wonder why

THey say in winter our starlings move farther south to france and spain and we get the russian starlings and at this time they all go back home, wonder if in russia they dont feed the birds then when they come here they go stupid and eat everthing they can before they go back LOL :o)))

i thought they stayed here thats why we get them doing them lovely swirls in the sky carol to keep warm ready for bed lol

Lovely to see you Thrush, they are such beautiful birds. We have them in the village but they don't visit my garden.

PLease he's back San , mine is building a nest , i'm hoping that I will be able to see into it , it's about level with my head , I'm thinking of placing a step of some kind nearby when it's not looking so that it's there ready .. :o)

Gee he will come and wont stay to long especially if the blackbirds are around, he gets chased off so nice to see him when about :o)

Well as our starlings come back home the russian ones leave so we still get them all year round.

arr i see carol, both cold countries so wasting their energy lol
