Triangle palm in Point Loma/Ocean Beach area with ripening fruit.

Yes, it is very majestic! It's very commonly grown in California because of its extreme drought tolerance.

If you look at it from the bottom...its fronds grow in 3 ranks resembling a triangle.

It's a very common palm here. I've started seedlings from seeds picked from mature triangle palms here.

The house in the background looks like mine. Just add a 3' foundation under it.
And,I once had a Jacaranda planted in front also. Should have kept it. But,I was going for the xeric plants..who needed all the sun they could get.
