Thanks everyone.... i also saw a yellow butterfly flitting about the garden....like a cabbage white but with yellow wings....

We have those here aswell, but not seen any this year yet. I hope your butterflies are a sign of a nice spring to come :o)

Thanks to you all........the yellow Butterfly i saw was a Brimstone....

i had a red admiral in my shed this morning holly, had to let it out, think it had just woken up, lovely to see them :o))
